As well as assisting lead and other agronomist(s) in support activities and to maintain and to proactively build long-term, profitable relationships with customers for Farmers Cooperative Society.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><p>Operations support during key times of the year including operation of application equipment, product delivery, and &nbsp; facility assistance along with any other day to day tasks crucial to support customer service execution. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Assist in support activities for lead and other agronomists including administrative work (blend sheets, customer and agronomist record keeping, product ordering and inventory management) and other activities with the objective of creating more sales time for agronomists.</p><p>Technical agronomy support for agronomists and core customer base including field scouting, sampling, diagnostics, and understanding and providing some recommendations back to agronomists.</p><p>Work with Location Manager and Lead Agronomy Tech for day-to-day jobs and tasks.&nbsp;</p><p>Warehouse management including product ordering, inventory, and customer assistance.&nbsp;</p><p>Equipment maintenance at the location.</p><p>Attending key FCS meetings and training events.&nbsp;</p><p>Work with agronomists, operations manager, and lead agronomy tech on professional skill development.&nbsp;</p><p>Work in various areas and on various projects related to the agronomy department.</p><p>Participates in &ldquo;special projects&rdquo; PPE will be provided and must be utilized according to safety standards. &nbsp;Typical working hours are based on customer and organizational demand; hours may be long, irregular and including weekends and holidays during peak season.</p><p>While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time. &nbsp;The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel. &nbsp;The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and able to climb ladders. &nbsp;The physicality of this job is high. &nbsp;
