Acts and serves as a resource and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the cardiologists, echo staff, and other departments. Acts as a liaison between their department and referring physician’s offices. Will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac ultrasound in accordance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission).</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>An appropriate credential in echocardiography:</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)</li>\n <li>Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)</li>\n <li>Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada</li>\n <li>Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Three (3) years of experience in a hospital setting</li>\n<li>Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification</li>\n<p> <strong> PREFERRED</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<li>Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology</li>\n<li>Congenital echocardiography experience</li>\n<h2>Work Hours:</h2>0630-1830\n<h2>Weekend Requirements:</h2>Yes- Rotating Basis\n<h2>On-Call Requirements:</h2>Yes",
