Our core values include building solid partnerships, providing exceptional service, nurturing a positive work environment, and offering comprehensive support to all our teammates.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews and evaluates project plans and specifications, bid documents, and other relevant documents to identify what is needed to create a bid proposal</li>\n <li>Calculates the cost of electrical construction based on reviewing and evaluating available documents and/or site conditions</li>\n <li>Consults with clients, vendors, and personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues</li>\n <li>Attends job site walk-throughs with other estimators as necessary to ensure that any field conditions that may potentially affect or impact the construction, prospective bid or pre-construction designs are properly handled</li>\n <li>Prepares bid documents including specific scope letter for each project, evaluations with adjustments for buy-outs, labor rate,  productivity, etc. and identifies any inconsistent issues, conflicts, and other problems</li>\n <li>Able to provide accurate, detailed, and competitive estimates</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent, combined with completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship Program and field experience, or a bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar studies</li>\n <li>Minimum 4+ years’ relevant experience related to commercial,  industrial and “service” projects  </li>\n <li>Accustomed to estimating projects at varied price ranges</li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of the electrical field with familiarity in materials and construction methods</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable of the N.E.C and local codes</li>\n <li>Proficient with MS Suite & Outlook and experience utilizing Accubid and AutoCAD</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Outgoing and personable</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>    How we support you:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excited about working at a highly respected company  </li>\n <li>Enjoy working with happy and fulfilled colleagues </li>\n <li>Work with the best </li>\n <li>Leadership development </li>\n <li>Feel supported by management who care       </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>   Cummings offers:</strong>    </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bonuses  </li>\n <li>PTO</li>\n <li>Stability</li>\n <li>Relocation</li>\n <li>Flexible work schedule</li>\n <li>Health benefit options and service discounts </li>\n <li>401(k) 8% employer match</li>\n <li>Onsite Gym</li>\n</ul>\n<p>   All applicants will be subject to background check and drug screen.
