This role is focused on building practical software used by engineering, operations, manufacturing, and business teams.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop custom tools and integrations for ERP and related internal business systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build full-stack applications using TypeScript, React, Express.js, and Node.js.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design, develop, and maintain database-backed applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create APIs, dashboards, reporting tools, workflow automation, and production support utilities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop production and manufacturing test tools used on the shop floor.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build GUIs for manufacturing, test, diagnostics, configuration, data entry, reporting, and operator workflows.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Write Bash and PowerShell scripts for automation, deployment, test execution, system configuration, and troubleshooting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Package and deploy applications using Docker containers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and operations teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable internal tools.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support data collection, traceability, test records, production metrics, and process improvement initiatives.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Debug software issues across front end, back end, database, ERP integration, scripting, and production environments.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably building internal tools, manufacturing tools, ERP integrations, or production systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Express.js, and Node.js.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience designing and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience building APIs, web applications, dashboards, and data-driven tools.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with Docker containers and containerized deployment workflows.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with Bash and/or PowerShell scripting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to build clean, usable GUIs for technical and non-technical users.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong debugging, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work directly with manufacturing, quality, operations, and engineering stakeholders.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience integrating with Epicor ERP or similar ERP/MRP systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience building manufacturing test tools, production dashboards, quality tools, or traceability systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">AI integration experience, especially applying AI to ERP workflows, reporting, data entry, document processing, analytics, or process automation.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">UI/UX experience, including user workflows, wireframing, design systems, accessibility, and usability testing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience working in compliance, quality, or regulated manufacturing environments; AS9100 experience is a strong plus.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Hands-on hardware experience, including building PCs, configuring systems, troubleshooting hardware, or supporting production equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with barcode scanners, label printers, test fixtures, serial devices, networked equipment, or shop-floor hardware integrations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, logging, monitoring, and secure software development practices.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Summary</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate is a practical full-stack engineer who can build reliable internal tools, integrate with ERP systems, automate production workflows, and support manufacturing test environments.
