This role is crucial in overseeing our general accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and auditors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for contributing to a family-oriented business environment.</p><h3><br></h3><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></h3><ul><li>Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including A/R, A/P, time billing, payroll, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control.</li><li>Assign and audit the work of the accounting staff, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of proper accounting systems and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP financial and accounting principles and internal control procedures.</li><li>Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, annual budget preparation, inventory roll forwards, and fixed assets and margin analysis; prepare supporting schedules for financial statements preparation</li><li>Act as the primary liaison with auditors for financial and 401K audits.</li><li>Communicate with customers regarding past-due invoices and provide regular updates to the management team.</li><li>Ensure all active projects are supported by valid contracts.</li><li>Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions.</li><li>Perform financial analysis of operations on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.</li></ul><h3><br></h3><p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p><p>As a family-owned business, we value each team member as part of our extended family.
