The Role We're looking for thoughtful, hardworking, creative engineers who thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. As a Product Engineer, you'll build core features and own large product areas across our mobile and web apps while helping scale and refine the systems that power them. We're NY- and LA-based with a hybrid in-person model (in the office 3 days a week). Our stack is React (web app), React Native (mobile app), Node.js , and Typescript. What you'll do: Build end-to-end features across our web and mobile apps, from design to launch Own all aspects of technical implementation: backend, frontend, web, mobile Help prioritize features and projects based on data, user feedback, and company goals Scope features from both a product and technical perspective, writing thoughtful product requirements and technical design documents Meet with users to get real product signal and feedback, and work closely with our designers to craft thoughtful UX/UI Collaborate with our community team to understand how our product is being used Take full ownership of large product areas as you grow Help drive improvements in code quality, velocity, and engineering best practices Mentor (and be mentored by) other high-performing engineers Join an ambitious team that moves fast and loves what we build What you'll bring: 2–11 years of full-time software engineering experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with a track record of seeing projects through from idea to impact Strong product intuition and a bias toward action Ability to elegantly structure and decomp complex features Detail orientation and a track record of shipping high-quality code quickly Appreciation for beautiful, user-centered design Strong work ethic Resourcefulness and creativity when faced with ambiguity or constraints A love of tackling complex, demanding challenges head-on Deep sense of ownership and dedication to delivering ambitious outcomes on fast timelines A team-first mindset and ability to put ego aside when making decisions What we offer: 401(k) with up to 6% matching Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and all your dependents (FSAs and HSA plans available) Free OneMedical membership, telehealth, and virtual mental health services Commuter benefits & contributions towards ClassPass and Citibike memberships Take what you need paid time off 14 paid holidays throughout the calendar year Quarterly stipend to plan your own party and dogfood the product Semiannual team off-sites Get invited to exclusive parties 🎉 In your application, please include a note on what excites you about Partiful! The anticipated annual salary for this position is $140k-$200k, plus a generous equity package.
