hydraulics (H&amp;H), and stream restoration who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and mentoring high-performing teams.</span></p>\n<p><span>You’ll bring a balance of <strong>technical leadership, project delivery experience, and a collaborative mindset</strong>, while contributing to both <strong>local initiatives and broader regional and national programs</strong>.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Serve as a <strong>senior technical leader</strong> for stormwater and water resources projects</span></li>\n <li><span>Lead and support <strong>stream restoration and stormwater design efforts</strong> across multiple projects</span></li>\n <li><span>Help grow <strong>local stream restoration capabilities</strong> while contributing to regional and national initiatives</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Project experience will include:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Hydrologic &amp; hydraulic (H&amp;H) modeling and analysis to inform data-driven planning</span></li>\n <li><span>Stream restoration/rehabilitation and pond retrofits</span></li>\n <li><span>Flood modeling and mitigation strategies</span></li>\n <li><span>Stormwater management (SWM) and BMP design, including inspections for environmental compliance</span></li>\n <li><span>Pedestrian trail design and park retrofits to enhance community access</span></li>\n <li><span>Site design and site assessments to support sustainable land use</span></li>\n <li><span>Erosion stabilization and utility system improvements</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Additional responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Manage <strong>project scope, schedule, and budget</strong> while coordinating multidisciplinary teams</span></li>\n <li><span>Provide <strong>mentorship and guidance</strong> to junior and mid-level engineers</span></li>\n <li><span>Support <strong>proposal development and technical pursuits</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Build and maintain relationships with <strong>clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Ensure high-quality deliverables through strong <strong>QA/QC practices</strong></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>What You Need to Succeed</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field</span></li>\n <li><span><strong>15+ years of progressive experience</strong> in water resources engineering with a focus on stormwater, H&amp;H modeling, and stream/ecological restoration</span></li>\n <li><span>Proven experience leading <strong>technical analysis and design</strong> for stormwater and flood mitigation projects</span></li>\n <li><span><strong>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</strong>&nbsp;</span>\n  <ul>\n   <li><span>Virginia PE preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months)</span></li>\n   <li><span>Maryland PE is a plus</span></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Technical Skills</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Advanced experience with H&amp;H modeling tools (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, PondPack, CivilStorm, or similar)</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong knowledge of <strong>stormwater system design and analysis</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with <strong>stream restoration and natural channel design</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with <strong>floodplain studies, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Familiarity with <strong>drainage design, watershed planning, and erosion/sediment control</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Understanding of <strong>regulatory permitting</strong> (Section 401/404, VPDES)</span></li>\n <li><span>Proficiency in <strong>AutoCAD Civil 3D</strong></span></li>\n <li><span>Experience developing <strong>plans, reports, and technical specifications</strong></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Leadership &amp;
