    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>&nbsp; <strong><u>Job Description</u></strong></p><p>&nbsp;The individual will be doing <strong><u>hands on</u></strong> repair, assembly, soldering, or re-manufacture of mechanical and electromechanical components utilizing company provided approved data. &nbsp; The technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, electromechanical, and machined assemblies sent in for repair evaluation by our customers. &nbsp;Training, technical documents, and oversight are provided by PG Aerotech management. &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Essential Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training.</li><li>Fabricate new aircraft components in accordance with company provided data and instructions.</li><li>Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.</li><li>Correctly, concisely, and legibly fill out all company forms and reports as required by management (both written and online).</li><li>Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management.</li><li>Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary.</li><li>Assist in basic shop upkeep and maintenance including routine cleaning of the technician&rsquo;s work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments.</li><li>Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external representatives, including management, customer reps, FAA inspectors, airline inspectors and similar (training provided).</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Experience and Skills</u></strong></p><ul><li>The ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings as well as a basic background check.</li><li>Five years of similar or related work experience; similar experience in a machine-shop environment, aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair will be considered.&nbsp;</li><li>Technician candidate must own his or her own set of basic hand tools.</li><li>Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing English.</li><li>Applicants must be able to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions. &nbsp;A pre-employment technical skills and comprehension test may be required.</li><li>Interested individuals must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.</li><li>Experience using a computer.</li><li>Punctual and reliable.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Electrical or Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience. &nbsp; Machinist experience a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp; <strong><u>Education</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED is required.</li><li>Associates degree or higher in a related technical field preferred.</li><li>Trade schooling or related industry experience required.</li><li>A&amp;P certificate is not required (but it is a plus).</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p><ul><li>Hourly position commensurate with experience; medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options; 401k with 100% match on first 4%; full time workers get paid holidays, vacation &amp; sick/personal leave accrued on hire date.</li></ul><p><strong><u>About Us</u></strong></p><p>PG Aerotech is an equal opportunity employer. &nbsp; For more information go to our website at&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.pgaerotech.com\">www.pgaerotech.com</a></p></div></div></div>\n",
