A Warehouse Associate at AVI is responsible for loading and unloading products from our trucks, keeping the warehouse neat and organized, and performing a variety of warehouse-related duties to ensure the proper transport and delivery of our fine window and door products. Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse. Load materials into vehicle and install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Manually, load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices. Stock and maintain inventory items in designated areas. Drive a forklift when needed to transport materials. Complete forklift operator training, as provided by the company. Check all documentation to make sure that it is correct. Keep warehouse clean and organized. Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage. Perform other warehouse/operations functions that may be assigned by management. Job Requirements Previous experience working in a warehouse High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently and with a team Excellent listening and communication skills Experience operating warehouse machinery Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and or move up to 100 lbs.; frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
