Kamper’s evokes the spirit of Barcelona’s charming cafes within the bustling heart of downtown Detroit. Perched atop the 14th floor of the iconic Book Tower, it pays homage to the building’s visionary architect while offering traditional Basque tapas, pintxos, an elevated wine and cocktail experience, and expansive skyline views. Kamper's Rooftop Lounge is looking for passionate and talented bartenders to join to our team! Bartender Job Responsibilities: Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail Greet all guests that approach bar Strong, upbeat and positive personality Set up bar, prep product to match covers plus 5% over Provide guidance and clear instruction to barbacks on expectations and needs for the shift Include an element of staff education for every lineup Offer full service to guests at the bar, should they like it, incorporating established service standards that guests in the dining room would expect Own and manage rotation of clean and polished glassware Properly handle cash and closing guest tabs Keep a clean and properly rotated bar, using older product before moving into fresh prep. Quality check all day old stock before using. Work clean, as all service areas are within full view of guests.
