Description

This Entry Level Position manages the pricing and interfaces with the back-office system in conjunction with the Senior Category Manager. The JR Category Manager is responsible for ensuring all pricing data is currently and accurate to maximize product profitability and sales. The JR Category Manager oversees and assists with store questions and ensures the stores are responded to in a timely and professional manner. To ensure accurate price management and communicate approved pricing into the price book. Support Category Management and Marketing functions with the organization. Key Responsibilities: Ensures integrity of the corporate price book by working with the Senior Category Manager and Vendors to establish and maintain the flow of item level retail and cost information. Understand how stock is managed at the site level as well as understanding the process for markdowns and shrink Provides support to the stores and resolves price book and pricing issues quickly Communicates data requirements to vendors Works with their Manager to Analyze Sales and Costs of dedicated categories Qualifications and Experience: · Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Knowledge, skills and abilities: · A constant pursuit of excellence · Professionalism · Demonstrates strong time management and organizational skills · Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel Key Behaviors: · Self-motivated. · Demonstrates ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency. · Able to meet tight deadlines. · Adaptability and flexibility.
