    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Knowledge Management (KM)/Information Portal Specialist to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain, update, and publish content in KM repositories and information portals following established taxonomies, metadata, and governance.</li>\n <li>Curate and organize knowledge assets (policies, SOPs, reports, lessons learned, templates) and enforce version control, archival, and disposition processes.</li>\n <li>Assist in designing user-friendly portal structures, navigation, and search taxonomies to enhance usability for diverse stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Validate content accuracy and alignment to approved sources; coordinate with SMEs to capture and convert institutional knowledge into consumable formats.</li>\n <li>Monitor portal usage, content quality, and user feedback; produce basic metrics and recommend content improvements.</li>\n <li>Implement standardized templates, publishing workflows, and access controls; support onboarding and user guidance materials.</li>\n <li>Maintain content inventories, status reports, and basic dashboards to support continuous KM improvements.</li>\n <li>Support records management and compliance with program information governance policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#ENOCS</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree</li>\n <li>Clearance: TS/SCI (active)</li>\n <li>Education / Certification: Candidate must meet ONE:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, Information Systems, Knowledge Management, or related field; OR</li>\n   <li>Security+ or Cloud+ certification.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience: Experience in KM, content management, portal administration, or related roles (adjust per program need).</li>\n <li>Skills: Proficiency with CMS/portal platforms, SharePoint/Confluence experience preferred, metadata/taxonomy application, version control, basic analytics/reporting, strong written communication, and stakeholder coordination.</li>\n <li>Other: Familiarity with information governance, records management, and controlled/classified content handling.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired / Preferred</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior DoD/Army/ARNG KM or portal experience</li>\n <li>Experience with taxonomy tools, search optimization, and user research/usability testing</li>\n <li>Familiarity with SIPR/NIPR/SharePoint Online and access control for classified content</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#ENOCS</p>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
