The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting structural integrity assessments for military platforms, with a preference for candidates who also have technical expertise in fatigue and fracture mechanics, composite structures, and/or dynamic loading environments.</p><p>This role requires a thorough understanding of structural analysis methods, qualification and certification processes, applicable military and civilian design standards, and Statements of Work (SOWs). Candidates with Army aviation or ground vehicle structural engineering experience are strongly preferred, though Navy or Air Force structural engineering experience is also acceptable. Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus.
