    "description": "<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>QA and Sensory Technologist</p>\n<p>The QA and Sensory Technologist supports the retailers overall program objectives through the management and implementation of quality assurance practices such as product monitoring and evaluation, customer feedback programs and supplier standards. They will be required to manage the timely submission of any formal regulatory applications in support of the private brands program to ensure retailer compliance. The role manages relationships with retailer cross-functional teams, customers and manufacturers. They will also be expected to regularly review and provide adjustments to current processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation and administration of Quality Assurance operational procedures, policies, programs and systems</p>\n<p>Participate in overall product development process</p>\n<p>Maintain the on-site sensory test kitchen</p>\n<p>Drive private label quality assurance testing program for specific products or clients</p>\n<p>Perform the day to day management of the retailer’s customer feedback programs for private brands</p>\n<p>Resolve issues or concerns regarding current product quality and recommends solutions for corrective action with Vendor</p>\n<p>Audit critical categories for quality integrity and food safety</p>\n<p>Design, execute, and analyze results from consumer tests and sensory evaluations of Private Label brand and competitive brand products</p>\n<p>Track and monitor federal and state regulations for products and packaging</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p>\n<p>Direct Reports- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports</p>\n<p>Indirect Reports- This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Travel and/or Driving Requirements</p>\n<p>- Travel and Driving are not essential duties or functions of this job</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the jobEducation Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Field of Study/Area of Experience: Food Science or Related Field2+ Years of experience in Science with labratory experience required</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Strong Written & Verbal Communication SkillsAbility to Exercise Sound JudgementWell Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work EnvironmentFlexible & Adaptable, able to change & Alter According to changes in Projects or Business EnvironmentKnowledge of generally accepted practices, procedures, & standard policy & procedure development techniquesKnowedgable in Data Analysis, Compile Information, & Prepare ReportsBasic Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, & web browsers</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Environmental & Physical Requirements Office / Sedentary Requirements Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
