The PNP will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to children in the Shreveport/Bossier. This position is responsible for comprehensive patient care for children, encompassing well-child exams, illness &nbsp;diagnosis, and treatment, and health promotion. The PNP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and provide education to families about health maintenance and disease prevention. The goal is to promote the health and well-being of children, fostering a supportive environment for their growth and development.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><u>Work Experience Requirements:</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Provides direct pediatric care to clinic patients, including examination, diagnosis and treatment according to established policy and protocol.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses in children, including prescribing medications as necessary.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with families and healthcare team members.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of health conditions.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><u>Education/Experience Requirements:</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Master&#39;s degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatric Nursing.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Louisiana.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or equivalent.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>WHAT WE OFFER?</strong> We offer 11 paid holidays each year, paid time off and extended leave days, discounted services, loan repayment options, and continuing education days to name a few.
