Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The position will provide end-user support services, and technical support for installing, and configuring computer hardware and software programs. This involves working closely with end-users, as well as external support vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
An essential job duty of this position is regularly reporting to work on time and being able to perform the essential duties of the position.
% Of Total Time
Maintain all assigned systems in an accurate and efficient manner. 5%
Provide end-user training and support to resolve application and hardware problems promptly and cordially. 50%
Tracks IT inventory assets with accuracy. 25%
Resolve issues quickly when troubleshooting or notifies the appropriate parties to reach a solution. 5%
Support computer change control management to ensure consistency with company policies. 5%
Assist in procurement and tracking of IT inventory assets. This includes but is not limited to hardware evaluation and purchase, employee training, and systems troubleshooting. 3%
Make recommendations regarding technology standards and improvements to policies, procedures, techniques, facilities, and other matters relative to enhancing the effectiveness of the department. 3%
Accept special projects willingly and complete them promptly. 4%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Working towards a 2-year degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience or Training: None.
Technology/Equipment : Strong mechanical/technical ability. Exposure to Office 365 applications, Active Directory management and basic network competencies.
