This role involves handling PR inquiries, creating POs, coordinating new supplier setups, managing paperwork, facilitating communication with internal users and external suppliers, and assisting in key projects to help achieve the Procurement Department&rsquo;s objectives.</p><p><strong><u>Essential Job Functions</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Manage the conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders.</li><li>Resolve PR or PO-related issues with internal teams and external suppliers.</li><li>Assist with indirect goods receipt (MIGO) steps in SAP.</li><li>Support Accounts Payable (AP) with invoice posting issues.</li><li>Help resolve invoice discrepancies.</li><li>Provide SAP indirect procurement troubleshooting and training to users.</li><li>Follow up on supplier order confirmations as needed.</li><li>Assist with new vendor and item setup.</li><li>Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to support daily operations and ensure procurement needs are met.</li><li>Ensure service requirements to suppliers are met and compliance is maintained.</li><li>Maintain indirect PR/PO support portal.</li><li>Generate indirect spend reports when required.</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks as needed.</li><li>Support ad hoc projects as requested.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Educational Qualifications</u></strong><strong>:</strong> Prefer Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Material Management or related in lieu of required experience.</p><p><strong><u>Experience</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain required</li><li>Prefer experience in the Flavor &amp; Fragrance or associated industries<strong>.</strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Competencies:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Successful candidates should be computer savvy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Power Point, Word, SAP desirable.&nbsp;</li><li>Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work in a fast paced interactive environment, and must be a team player. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work in a fast pace environment and work overtime, as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong Organizational and Follow Up Skills</li></ul><p><strong><u>Takasago&rsquo;s Employee Benefits and Perks:&nbsp;</u></strong>Takasago offers flexible work arrangements, tuition assistance, health benefits, employee discounts to various services and products, and life insurance 1.5 times your salary.
