Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p>Specific duties and responsibilities of the Radiation Protection Technician include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Perform radiation and contamination surveys and decontamination work.</li><li>Perform sampling and analysis of gases, liquids, and solids.</li><li>Analyze and interpret the results of surveys and analyses and recommend appropriate radiation protection controls and actions.</li><li>Provide briefings and guidance to facility personnel to prevent unplanned exposures and maintain exposures ALARA.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain and calibrate radiation monitors, radiation detection instrumentation, and other associated equipment.</li><li>Ensure radiological safety activities are following federal and state standards and regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
