This role ensures that enterprise data initiatives &mdash; including data lake and data warehouse development, ERP implementations, and broader application modernization efforts &mdash; are aligned with transformation goals and deliver measurable business value.</p><p>The Data Product Owner serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical data teams, translating business requirements into clear data standards, structures, rules, and quality expectations. This role also leads a team of Data Analysts who support data definition, validation, and cross-functional alignment activities across enterprise data domains.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Define and maintain data domain ownership (e.g., customer, product, finance, supply chain).</li><li>Translate business requirements into data definitions, rules, enrichment logic, and acceptance criteria.</li><li>Prioritize data initiatives, cleansing efforts, and enhancements based on transformation goals and business impact.</li><li>Approve and validate transformed, cleansed, and enriched datasets prior to release.</li><li>Establish and document business data standards, including definitions, hierarchies, and critical attributes.</li><li>Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting operations, reporting, or analytics.</li><li>Drive alignment across business functions on common data definitions and usage.</li><li>Measure and report on data quality, adoption, and value realization metrics.</li><li>Serves as the business authority for assigned data domains within the Data Governance Council.</li><li>Defines and approves business data standards, critical data elements, and quality thresholds.</li><li>Partners with Data Stewards<a id=\"_anchor_1\" href=\"#_msocom_1\" language=\"JavaScript\" name=\"_msoanchor_1\" target=\"_blank\">[NL1]</a>&nbsp;
