This position partners closely with Foundation leadership operational leadership, and Benedictine Support Center teams to translate strategic initiatives into compelling funding opportunities that drive organization-wide impact across all Benedictine communities. This position leads a comprehensive, organization-wide institutional giving strategy, managing a portfolio of high-value foundation, corporate, and government funders. The Foundation Giving & Grants Manager serves as the organization’s expert in institutional funding and is accountable for significant revenue generation, cross-functional leadership, and establishing best practices that strengthen Benedictine’s fundraising performance at scale.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads the development and execution of an organization-wide institutional giving strategy aligned with Benedictine’s strategic priorities, capital investments, growth initiatives, and community needs. Partners with Foundation and operational leadership to identify, prioritize, and position high-impact funding opportunities.</li>\n <li>Develops, writes, and submits a high volume of complex proposals, including grants, concept papers, and reports to foundations, corporations, and government entities. </li>\n <li>Works in close partnership with Foundation Development Directors, community Executive Directors, finance, clinical leaders, and operational teams to develop fundable initiatives. </li>\n <li>Oversees the full lifecycle of institutional funding: prospecting, proposal development, submission, award management, compliance, and reporting. </li>\n <li>Cultivates and manages relationships with foundations, corporate partners, and government agencies. </li>\n <li>Establishes organization-wide best practices, tools, and templates for institutional giving and grant writing. </li>\n <li>Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties, tasks, and/or projects as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, public administration, business, or related field.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5–7+ years of progressive experience in grant writing and institutional advancement.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated success securing six- and seven-figure grants from foundations, corporations, and/or government entities.</li>\n <li>Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.</li>\n <li>Strong project management and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead cross-functional work in a complex organization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Advanced degree (MPA, MBA, or related field).</li>\n <li>Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). </li>\n <li>Experience in healthcare, senior living, or multi-site nonprofit systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with Raiser’s Edge or comparable CRM systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with Grants software or comparable systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EEO/AA/Vet Friendly</p>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>$125,000\n<h2>Benefits Statement</h2>\n<p>A robust benefits package is available to eligible associates, designed to meet the needs of every stage of life, including paid time off (PTO), retirement, medical, dental, vision, education assistance, and a variety of additional voluntary benefits.
