THE OPPORTUNITY
EBM Software is a rapidly growing SaaS company that provides cutting-edge business analytics tools to private equity firms, investment banks, and middle-market companies. Our platform empowers clients to navigate complex decisions through robust analysis, extensive modeling, and advanced data analytics across a wide variety of industries
THE ROLE
We are seeking a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is focused on the mid-to-late stages of the sales cycle, taking ownership of warm, pre-qualified leads and guiding them to a successful close. The ideal candidate will be an expert in navigating complex sales processes, identifying critical business problems, and adeptly guiding potential buyers to the value of EBM's solutions, preferably utilizing the MEDDIC framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the sales process from the first meeting through to contract negotiation and closing.
Utilize a consultative and relationship-building sales approach to deeply understand, or explain, the needs and challenges of potential customers.
Act as a trusted consultant, clearly communicating the value, use cases, and financial impact of EBM’s solutions to prospective clients.
Apply the MEDDIC framework (Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identify Pain, Champion) to qualify opportunities and drive the sales process forward.
Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific needs of each prospect.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Collaborate with the sales development, marketing, and account management teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
Track and maintain up-to-date records of all sales activities in our CRM.
WHAT IT TAKES
A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a closing role within B2B sales
A track record in securing new logos
Proven expertise in managing the mid-to-late stage of the sales cycle with a focus on mid-market and enterprise clients.
A solid understanding and practical application of the MEDDIC sales methodology is highly preferred.
A demonstrated ability to guide and navigate potential deals forward to compress decisions cycles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a passion for technology and a drive to exceed targets.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
