We promote within; excellent opportunities to advance along with educational assistance so you can pursue your career goals.</span></li>\n <li><span>A benefits package designed with your total well-being in mind including generous paid time off, comprehensive insurance options for you and your family, generous flex benefits, health &amp; dental plan, disability, life insurance, vision care, and a retirement savings plan including Pension, RRSP and TFSA opportunities to save for the future!</span></li>\n <li><span>Enjoy a wide variety of perks including discounts on travel, vehicles, entertainment, shopping and many more.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a Warehouse Associate, your training will focus on the gradual learning of basic warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of assigned areas.&nbsp;You will comply with operational, audit, safety and all other company policies.</p>\n<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes local safety orientation and training courses and ensures safety and security policies are followed</li>\n <li>Shadows more experienced Warehouse Operations associates on the verification of supplier inbound, customer returns, branch returns, and enters order receipts into computer and RF systems</li>\n <li>Through the guidance of more experienced Warehouse Operations associates, places received material, after segregating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations</li>\n <li>Will receive training and practice on how to fill out log sheets for inbound overages, shortages, damages or non-compliant material</li>\n <li>Receives training and will practice how to use manual or RF process to pick, pack, weigh and ship product</li>\n <li>Assists in packing, labeling, wrapping and loading inbound/outbound trucks</li>\n <li>Will be trained on using system generated or manually prepared local delivery records, and complete applicable blocks on pick ticket</li>\n <li>Will assist with verifying return policy guidelines are followed prior to issuing credit for returned material</li>\n <li>Pulls stock and returns to location pending credit memo, sale, or return to supplier&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Will receive training and practice on cutting and spooling wire</li>\n <li>Maintains counter stock and assists with some customer service activities&nbsp;</li>\n <li>As the apprentice progresses with experience, they will receive additional training on how to operate a forklift and pallet jacks</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow direction</li>\n <li>Ambition to learn</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Working Environment:</b> Warehouse – Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally, well-ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees may be exposed to all kinds of weather and may be required to wear protective clothing.&nbsp;Operates heavy equipment.&nbsp;Strict safety regulations may be required.</p>\n<p><b>Physical Expectations:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work is physically strenuous, and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>&nbsp;Work may require excessive bending or stooping</li>\n <li>Employee required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day</li>\n <li>Employee required to use hand tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><span>#LI-NS1</span></p>",
