    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Touro College of Pharmacy invites applications for 12-month faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in internal medicine, or a variety of specialties such as ambulatory care, oncology, psychiatry, critical care medicine, and other specialties.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Faculty will develop an innovative clinical practice in an in-patient or ambulatory care setting, and serve as a preceptor and role model for students on introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences</li>\n <li>Faculty will provide didactic classroom teaching and recitation instruction on campus</li>\n <li>Faculty will provide service on college committees, attendance and participation in departmental meetings and will perform other faculty duties as appropriate</li>\n <li>Faculty will contribute to new knowledge (research) through research activities, poster presentations, publications, obtaining grants and/or contracts, clinical trials and other scholarly work</li>\n <li>Faculty will provide reports and other documents as requested by Department Chairs, Directors and Deans</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Education/Experience</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctor of Pharmacy.</li>\n <li>The applicant should have a Pharm.D. Degree with post-graduate training- a PGY-1 and PGY-2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent clinical experience.</li>\n <li>Previous academic experience and board certification in an area appropriate for the applicant's training and experience (e.g., BCPS or BCACP) are preferred.</li>\n <li>Must be eligible for licensure in the state of New York.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues.</li>\n <li>Strong commitment to teaching, practice, and scholarship</li>\n <li>Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and organization skills</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>As required</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Working Conditions</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Extensive Use of Computers</li>\n <li>Extensive time sitting and standing</li>\n <li>Able to lift up to 5 lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Maximum Salary</h2>USD $130,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Minimum Salary</h2>USD $104,000.00/Yr.",
