This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a mining environment. Interns will assist with engineering, survey, and field operations to support the ongoing development of the site.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Field Support: Assist with detailed field surveys, including flagging roads, pads, and other infrastructure projects.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Data Management: Use CAD software and other mining-specific applications to maintain accurate notes, records, and sketches of work performed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical Reporting: Research previous survey evidence and physical records to prepare and present findings to Engineering and Operational personnel.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Safety &amp; Compliance: Participate in health and safety documentation and follow-up to ensure accurate reporting and a safe work environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Operational Exposure: Gain experience in various mining circuits, which may include drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling operations.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical field.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with CAD software or drone piloting is a plus.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical Demands: Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/dry) and near moving mechanical parts. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Transportation: Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation for the daily commute to the Copper World site, located approximately 45 minutes from downtown Tucson.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
