They will be required to operate in a safe manner at all times. Must be organized and able to follow detailed standard operating procedures and communicate effectively. The incumbent will be required to move large totes, bins, and storage containers using proper lifting tools and techniques. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Capable of making all production batches in either the Cationic or Anionic production areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manufactures batches based on the production schedule.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintains accurate records of batch manufacture. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follows lab instructions on batch adjustments. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Reports/documents any process or equipment problems (via work orders, incident reports, etc). Takes equipment/processes out of service as required. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Follows all company requirements for properly labeling in-process as well as finished goods containers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintains a clean and safe work area. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Participates during inventory activities. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Unloads or loads bulk tanker trucks. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Reports all accidents and spills to the Production Supervisor. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must be able to comply with all OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance policies. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High school diploma or higher. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">1-5 years of chemical production experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">1-5 years experience welding/fabrication. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Mechanical aptitude.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Requires overall knowledge of reactors, instruments, filters, pumps, forklifts, scales, and standard test equipment and plant processes. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations as they apply to chemical plant operations; Knowledge of DOT Hazardous Material Regulations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge and familiarity with office equipment including copiers, fax, and scan equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work in a detailed environment with little to no direct supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Use of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Word and Excel®. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Licensing &amp; Special Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> Incumbent is subject to a criminal background check.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">WORKING CONDITIONS &amp; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work is primarily performed within ASI’s warehouse and production area. Must be comfortable with working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This position will be expected and required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas and while on-site. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required. The incumbent should be able to pull, push, twist, balance, and move with general ease.
