Opportunity.&nbsp;</strong>People who get it.<br>We are the home of ambitious, passionate, and innovative world shapers.<br>With an unmatched breadth and depth of engineering, advisory and science‑based expertise, our global minds unite to power local solutions.<br>We are pathfinders and impact makers.<br>We are<strong> Visioneers.&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>We are WSP.</strong></p><hr><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>The Remediation Program Management (RPM) team is your opportunity to apply your skills and join a diverse and growing team within WSP supporting our key clients in contaminated site assessment, remediation, and reclamation.&nbsp; We are seeking team members who are ready to build a career, say yes to new opportunities, and bring and share new ideas in solving the biggest environmental remediation challenges for our biggest clients.&nbsp;</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><ul><li>Be part of a Canadian-based firm, applying and expanding your technical, client delivery and project delivery skills.</li><li>Clearly identify and understand project objectives associated with progressing contaminated sites to closure, bring your ideas and solutions to your project manager, project directors, mentors.</li><li>Project coordination&nbsp;including set-up of field work programs, preparation of field work instructions and health and safety plans, budget and schedule management, subcontractor management, and project filing.</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.</li><li>Completing&nbsp;and assisting&nbsp;in data collection, compilation, interpretation and reporting for phased environmental site assessment, remediation, and reclamation.</li><li>Develop your career by having several different mentors to plan, adjust and grow your career at WSP.</li><li>Participate and be a member of a 30-40 person client-specific delivery team, while at the same time leveraging the experience and expertise of the entire RPM group.</li><li>Have a really complex technical issue?&nbsp; Engage with a Practice Area Network (PAN) who may have experienced the same issue in Australia, Malaysia, or even exotic locations like Saskatoon.</li><li>Apply your love for the outdoors and complete fieldwork assignments in Western Canada (up to 25%), including Phase 1 and 2 ESAs, drilling, groundwater sampling, remediation, and reclamation.</li><li>Plan, lead or work on some of the most interesting and technically challenging environmental projects in Western Canada.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in environmental science, engineering, or related field.&nbsp;</li><li>A minimum of 3 years experience in environmental site assessment and remediation.</li><li>Asset to have experience related to the Upstream oil and gas industry.</li><li>Eligible to register as a Professional or Professional in Training with an applicable association (AIA, APEGA, etc.)</li><li>Thrives in the office (up to 75%) and are detail-orientated.</li><li>Have excellent communication skills and are the default person coordinating activities with your friends and family.</li><li>Enjoys mentoring and training junior staff on the wonders of environmental assessments.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong></p><p>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
