We have an in-house Architectural Finishes &amp; Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/installs nationally.    </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Charlotte regional office, with the role based full-time in Louisville, KY.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do:</span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working closely with PMs and Superintendents on the day-to-day operations of construction sites.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with submittals, RFIs, and change management.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting in contract buyouts.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Working with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing project schedules and phasing plans.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Attending and documenting project meetings.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting projects with exposure to multifamily construction environments.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will need to be successful:</span>  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the commercial construction field, ideally including multifamily, paired with a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A working understanding of construction cost accounting.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Computer skills required: Procore, scheduling software (P6 preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong proficiency using the Procore project management system.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to develop and maintain schedules in P6 is preferred but not required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>At Rycon Construction, Inc. we believe outstanding employees build the foundation necessary for excellence in business.
