          "text": "<p><strong>Certified Tower Climber Technician</strong></p><p>100% Travel | United States | Full-Time</p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>Crown Innovations is seeking <strong>Certified Tower Climber Technicians</strong> to support the installation, inspection, repair, and remediation of communication towers and related infrastructure.</p><p>This role is responsible for climbing communication towers and performing hands-on fieldwork to support mission-critical communications systems. The selected candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work at height in varying weather conditions.</p><p>This is a <strong>100% travel position</strong>, requiring deployment to job sites nationwide, often on short notice.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Tower Climbing &amp; Installation</strong></p><p>• Climb communication towers and related structures to perform installation, inspection, repair, and remediation activities<br>\n• Perform hands-on work at height in compliance with safety standards and project requirements</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Inspection &amp; Documentation</strong></p><p>• Document tower conditions through photos, videos, and written reports<br>\n• Complete inspection checklists and technical documentation accurately<br>\n• Verify compliance with ANSI/TIA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Field Operations &amp; Support</strong></p><p>• Perform site preparation and cleanup<br>\n• Support material handling and movement of equipment<br>\n• Assist with structure assembly and installation activities<br>\n• Operate equipment as required and authorized<br>\n• Perform manual labor in support of tower and site work</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Team Collaboration</u></strong></p><p>• Work collaboratively with field and office personnel<br>\n• Support team operations to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Safety &amp; Compliance</u></strong></p><p>• Follow all company and industry safety protocols<br>\n• Utilize proper PPE, rigging practices, and fall protection systems<br>\n• Maintain compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Required Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>• Certified Tower Climber (ComTrain, SPRAT, or equivalent)<br>\n• Minimum <strong>1–2 years of tower climbing experience</strong><br>\n• Familiarity with tower types including monopole, guyed, and self-supporting structures<br>\n• Knowledge of rigging practices, PPE, and fall protection systems<br>\n• Ability to read and interpret tower drawings, inspection checklists, and technical reports<br>\n• Strong documentation and communication skills<br>\n• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record<br>\n• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required<br>\n• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Travel &amp; Work Requirements</u></strong></p><p>• This is a 100% travel position across the United States<br>\n• Travel may be required on short notice based on project needs<br>\n• Employees are required to cover travel-related expenses in advance, which are reimbursed by Crown every 10 days in accordance with company policy</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Physical &amp; Work Environment Requirements</u></strong></p><p>• Ability to work at heights for extended periods<br>\n• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments<br>\n• Ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain<br>\n• Ability to perform manual labor and handle materials and equipment safely</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></strong></p><p>• First Aid / CPR and rescue training<br>\n• Certified Competent Climber / Rescuer<br>\n• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Schedule &amp; Work Environment</strong></p><p>• Typical field schedule consists of extended 10-hour workdays<br>\n• Work may require non-standard hours based on project requirements<br>\n• This is a 100% travel position</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p><p><strong>Hourly Rate Range: $35 to $40 per hour (W2)</strong></p><p>Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.</p><p>Crown complies with all applicable state and local pay transparency laws. The listed compensation range represents the good faith salary range for this position at the time of posting.
