Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with a diverse range of technical, professional, and managerial staff—as well as designers, consultants, and contractors—to coordinate and develop comprehensive cost estimates. Prepare, or ensure the preparation of, detailed cost estimates across all phases of design and construction. Oversee the creation of quantity take-offs and cost evaluations based on design documents, construction drawings, specifications, and contract modifications. Review and analyze cost estimates submitted by external consultants, providing recommendations on their suitability for implementation. Participate in cost-related negotiations to support project planning and budgeting efforts. Lead, assign, and review the work of team members involved in cost estimating activities. Perform additional related duties as required. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, with at least five years being in one or more estimating disciples such as architecture, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
