    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>About Strescon</strong></p><p>Established in 1963, Strescon Limited has grown to become the largest precast pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada. The primary market covers the Atlantic Provinces, the New England region of the United States, and Bermuda. Strescon manufactures a wide range of both architectural and&nbsp;structural precast/prestressed concrete products; including, bridge girders, wall panels, complete parking garages, hollow-core planking, piling and deck slabs. Strescon presently has two facilities: 70,000 sq.<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span>ft. in Saint John, New Brunswick and 50,000 sq.<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span>ft. In<span>&nbsp;</span>Bedford, Nova Scotia.<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span><span>&nbsp;</span></p><p>In addition to our precast facilities,&nbsp;Strescon&nbsp;opened a&nbsp;state of the art, 32,000 sq. ft. pipe plant<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span>in 2001,<span>&nbsp;</span>manufacturing<span>&nbsp;</span>concrete products for engineered drainage systems, such as pipe, manholes and catch<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span>basins.<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"> </span></p><p>We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated <strong>Forklift Operator</strong> to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the handling, storage, and loading of precast concrete products in the plant yard. This role involves operating equipment, maintaining yard organization, and ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials. The position requires a commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>&nbsp;<strong>Material Handling:</strong> Load, unload, and move precast concrete products using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.</li><li><strong>Yard Organization:</strong> Maintain proper storage and dunnage placement of finished products.</li><li><strong>Inspection:</strong> Check products for damage before loading and report any issues.</li><li><strong>Equipment Operation:</strong> Safely operate yard cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed). Perform checks and basic maintenance on forklift, shunt truck and front loader.</li><li><strong>Housekeeping:</strong> Keep yard clean and organized; remove debris and maintain safe working conditions.</li><li><strong>Assist Production:</strong> Support plant operations when required, including moving forms or materials.</li><li><strong>Safety Compliance:</strong> Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE, and report hazards immediately.
