    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span><strong>Job Description&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span>Responsibility may include the complete concept, design, development, analysis, and documentation of mechanical/electrical components, devices and/or systems with mechanical parts for new and existing products. Create models, develop criteria, and conduct product and prototype testing. Design, develop, and maintain production tests and systems. Investigate problems with internal production equipment and implement solutions. Conduct feasibility studies, Gage R&amp;R, time studies, and tests new and modified designs. Directs support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Provides information to drafting for documentation.</span></p><p><span><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Work independently or with other technical/manufacturing resources to achieve key manufacturing metrics.</span></li><li><span>Cell support for manufacturing personnel, product, and test equipment.</span></li><li><span>Integrate daily work with multiple active projects.</span></li><li><span>Analyze test data to evaluate key factors and collaborates with technical resources on/off site in problem solving.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and understands limitations in software and standard industry equipment.</span></li><li><span>Evaluate and qualify new parts or suppliers.</span></li><li><span>Work with suppliers/customers to RCCM quality issues.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Electrical Engineering or related technical field (CS, Materials Science, etc) from ABET certified university</span></li><li><span>Post-undergraduate education in related engineering field preferred</span></li><li><span>Minimum of 5 years of related experience</span></li><li><span>Highly attentive to detail and simultaneously retain big picture perspective</span></li><li><span>Effectively present information and respond to questions from management, operators, engineers, and other support staff.</span></li><li><span>Estimates, leads, and delivers work at a project level</span></li><li><span>Influences assembly / test design tradeoff decisions</span></li><li><span>Analyzes complex designs independently</span></li><li><span>Experience with LabVIEW TestStand preferred</span></li><li><span>Contributes to system design, verification test plans, and best practices</span></li><li><span>Performs advanced root cause analysis</span></li><li><span>Customizes test systems to simplify or automate tasks</span></li><li><span>Hands-on experience with multiple manufacturing processes preferred</span></li></ul>",
