    "description": "<p>26-004 BENEFIT ELEGIBLE CASUAL EMPLOYEE (BECE)</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are currently accepting expressions of interest for casual BECES to work out of multiple stations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>A BECE is a Benefit Eligible Casual Employee with guaranteed 0.5 FTE hrs of 7 shifts per month (half of FT hours) with no specified hours per shift or shift cycle. BECE’s are eligible for benefits.</p>\n<ul>\n<li><br>BECE’s will provide the company with their shift availability one (1) month in advance for the following month. The employee must provide a minimum availability of seven shifts per month including at least one weekend.</li>\n<li><br>The employee will be assigned shifts in accordance with their availability.</li>\n<li><br>The company will endeavour to pre-schedule shifts whenever possible, and where possible provide a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.</li>\n<li><br>BECE’s must be available to work half of long weekends.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>(For more details on BECE’s please review HSAA/ CUPE Collective Bargaining Agreement).</p>\n<p> <br>The successful applicant(s) will possess the following qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid ACP practice permit that meets the requirement for EMS practice in Alberta</li>\n<li>Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license.</li>\n<li>Up to date with all mandatory and required training (including MCP and PDIC)</li>\n<li>Vulnerable Sector Check<br></li>\n<li>5 year Drivers Abstract</li>\n<li>Successful Completion of FARE in last 6 months</li>\n<li>Immunizations up to date </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>In accordance with the Core Values and Strategic Direction of Associated Ambulance, the key priorities within the organization are quality, patient safety and employee safety.
