Food Runner
This highly anticipated concept will feature culinary leadership by Daniel Ontiveros, mixology by Francesco Lafranconi, and a premium, immersive design by Rockwell Group led by David Rockwell. We are now hiring Front of House and Back of House professionals to join a restaurant built on craft, hospitality, and excellence. Carver Road Hospitality invests in, develops, and operates award-winning restaurants, lounges, and lifestyle experiences across New York City, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Boston, and beyond. Position Summary
The Food Runner is responsible for setting up and carrying trays and delivering food from the kitchen to the guest, describing food items to the guest, assisting the Chef in organizing the line.
Duties and Responsibilities
Polishing utensils, steak knives, and plates, and restock runner and kitchen stations.
Assure guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.
Ensures the timely delivery of all food to the guests.
Announce the dish and describe the ingredients and preparation in detail to the guests.
Inquire any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest served.
Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the Company.
Performing tableside service and French serving.
Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health & Company sanitation standards.
Communicates the needs of the guests to Front of House and Back of House support staff, managers, and chefs.
Properly sets-up and break down runner station and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.
Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guests satisfaction.
Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
Our Ideal Candidate
Previous hospitality experience in high-volume restaurant/lounge.
Must be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.
Must be able to bend and left up to 50 lbs.
Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
Exposure to hot kitchen elements of cleaning materials.
Must be able to work and remain focused in fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Let’s create something extraordinary together.\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nPosition Summary \\r\\n\\r\\nThe Food Runner is responsible for setting up and carrying trays and delivering food from the kitchen to the guest, describing food items to the guest, assisting the Chef in organizing the line.\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nDuties and Responsibilities\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tPolishing utensils, steak knives, and plates, and restock runner and kitchen stations. \\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tAssure guests have everything they need on the tables after delivery of food.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tEnsures the timely delivery of all food to the guests.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tAnnounce the dish and describe the ingredients and preparation in detail to the guests.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tInquire any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest served.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tPossesses in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus and the Company.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tPerforming tableside service and French serving.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tProtects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health & Company sanitation standards.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tCommunicates the needs of the guests to Front of House and Back of House support staff, managers, and chefs.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tProperly sets-up and break down runner station and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tAttends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tUpdates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tWorks as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tMaintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tAnticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guests satisfaction.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tMaintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nOur Ideal Candidate\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tPrevious hospitality experience in high-volume restaurant/lounge.\\r\\n\\tMust be able to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.\\r\\n\\tMust be able to bend and left up to 50 lbs.\\r\\n\\tRole may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.\\r\\n\\tExposure to hot kitchen elements of cleaning materials.\\r\\n\\tMust be able to work and remain focused in fast-paced and ever-changing environment.\\r\\n\\tAbility to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\nAs an important member of our team, you’ll be eligible for:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tHealth, Dental, and Vision insurance\\r\\n\\tCompetitive pay\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n \\r\\n\\r\\nThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
