We offer opportunities for leadership training and career advancement.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Responsibilities</span>:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>- Sterilize instruments: Ensure proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established infection control protocols.</p>\n<p>- Set up and clean up rooms: Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, including arranging necessary instruments, materials, and equipment. Clean and disinfect treatment areas after each patient.</p>\n<p>- Maintain dental equipment: Assist in the maintenance and organization of dental equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order and ready for use.</p>\n<p>- Order dental supplies: Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and communicate with the appropriate personnel to ensure timely procurement and restocking.</p>\n<p>- Take x-rays: Utilize your x-ray certification to capture diagnostic radiographs as directed by the dentist. Ensure proper technique and radiation safety protocols are followed.</p>\n<p>- Assist chairside as needed: Support the dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside assistance, passing instruments, maintaining a clear field, and anticipating the needs of the dentist and patient.</p>\n<p>- Facilitate sedation appointments: Assist with monitoring patients undergoing sedation, including hooking them up to monitoring equipment, starting IVs, and ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.  Assist in preparing patients for sedation: Follow pre-operative protocols, obtain medical clearances, and conduct interviews as necessary.- Maintain accurate records: Collaborate with the dental team to ensure thorough documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and sedation records. Assist in logging and tracking medication counts for compliance and safety.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>- Current BLS certificate</p>\n<p>- Current OSHA and HIPPA certificates</p>\n<p>- Phlebotomy training for Dental Assistants</p>\n<p>- Nitrous monitoring course</p>\n<p>- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols</p>\n<p>- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to work well in a team environment</p>\n<p>- Exceptional attention to detail- Strong communication and interpersonal skills</p>\n<p><br><br>If you are ready to embark on a new journey in the dental field and utilize your paramedic skills in a different capacity, we would love to hear from you.
