This position performs a combination of excavation, grading, and material handling activities and assists with field labor when not operating equipment. The Operator plays a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.</p><h3 data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1201\"><strong data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1199\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"2372\"><li data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1357\"><p data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1357\">Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and skid steers in support of soil excavation, grading, backfilling, and site restoration.</p></li><li data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1534\"><p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1534\">Support remediation and construction activities including trenching, waste removal, grading, and site preparation under the direction of the Crew Leader or Project Manager.</p></li><li data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1650\"><p data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1650\">Perform daily equipment inspections, preventative maintenance checks, and report mechanical issues immediately.</p></li><li data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1755\"><p data-start=\"1653\" data-end=\"1755\">Load, move, and spread materials such as soil, gravel, and debris using proper operating techniques.</p></li><li data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1886\"><p data-start=\"1758\" data-end=\"1886\">Maintain compliance with
