Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Novelis has approximately 13,000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities & Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Novelis is seeking an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to join our Maintenance team. Novelis Millwrights work on a wide range of heavy industrial equipment, including high‑speed aluminum rolling mills, batch and continuous strip heat‑treating furnaces, coil slitting and tension levelling systems, process and cleaning lines, and supporting equipment such as overhead cranes, drive systems, pumping systems, and material handling equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Millwrights support our Vision 3x30 by:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adhering to safety rules in all undertakings. All team members must be willing to Say Anything to contribute to our safety culture</li>\n <li>Executing preventative maintenance with the goal of eliminating losses due to unplanned downtime</li>\n <li>Working with Operators to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns</li>\n <li>Repairing on-site equipment safely and efficiently</li>\n <li>Working together as one team, regardless of position or title, with one agenda to achieve zero losses</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The ideal fit for this role is someone who:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Puts safety first</li>\n <li>Has a continuous improvement mindset</li>\n <li>Has a willingness to lead and embrace change</li>\n <li>Is self-motivated and sees tasks through to completion</li>\n <li>Champions working together</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Environment:</p>\n<p>The Maintenance team works either a 12-hour continental shift schedule OR 8 hour day shift Monday-Friday.
