    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p><br id=\"isPasted\">1. &nbsp; &nbsp;Education: &nbsp; &nbsp;Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a five year Baccalaureate degree or a six year Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. &nbsp;Maintains a current license and continuing education credits required in the state of Arkansas. A graduate intern must be properly registered with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.<br><br>2. &nbsp; &nbsp;Training and Experience: &nbsp; &nbsp;Previous hospital experience as an intern or pharmacist preferred. &nbsp;Understanding of overall pharmacy operations. &nbsp;Requires initiative, good character and the ability to assume responsibilities.<br><br>3. &nbsp; &nbsp;Job Knowledge: &nbsp; Understanding the functions required to provide pharmaceuticals to inpatient and outpatient use. &nbsp;Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations (see attached sheet). &nbsp;Stays current by &nbsp;various methods, which may include professional journals, inservices and professional meetings. &nbsp;Utilizes drug information to improve the quality of care for our patients.<br><br>4. &nbsp; &nbsp;Safety Sensitive: &nbsp; YES<br>In the interest of protecting the health and safety of all patients, associates, and guests, Unity Health has classified some positions as &ldquo;safety sensitive.&rdquo; &nbsp;A &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position is any job position in which impaired performance could result in harm to the health and/or safety of self or others. Any associate that is actively engaged in the use of medical marijuana, even if in possession of a valid medical marijuana card, will be excluded from employment in a &ldquo;safety sensitive&rdquo; position.<br><br><br><br>DESCRIPTION:<br><br>Responsible for implementing all pharmacy policies and procedures throughout the hospital. &nbsp;Assumes responsibilities of the department in the absence of the Director. &nbsp;Supervises the technicians in daily functions allowed by the State Board of Pharmacy. &nbsp;Provides drug information to physicians and other hospital personnel. &nbsp;Compounds and dispenses medications needed for inpatient, employee and outpatient services. &nbsp;Prepares and properly labels intravenous solutions.
