They will oversee the maintenance of all facility plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and equipment repair. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Respond to all building emergencies</li>\n <li>Reviews Daily Log and Maintenance Log</li>\n <li>Responds to requests and concerns from residents, family members and team members</li>\n <li>Maintain all painted surfaces and flooring throughout the community</li>\n <li>Prepare the rooms for new residents and assists with move-ins and move-outs</li>\n <li>Maintain the grounds by collecting trash, sweeping the dumpster areas and cleaning first impression areas</li>\n <li>Maintains the HVAC system to ensure proper air quality and comfortable temperatures</li>\n <li>Test, schedules inspections and maintains proper documentation on the fire protection systems</li>\n <li>Conducts fire and disaster drills following the appropriate policy and procedure guidelines</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and/or knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance</li>\n <li>Experience in maintaining water source heat pumps a plus</li>\n <li>Experience with OSHA and life safety regulations</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n <li>Experience in a retirement community, nursing home or assisted living community a plus</li>\n <li>Basic computer knowledge</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask</li>\n <li>Must be able to effectively communicate and document in English</li>\n <li>Must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States</li>\n <li>Must pass a criminal background check</li>\n <li>Must have a current TB test and Physical (if required by the position)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Demands:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs.</li>\n <li>Kneel, crouch and bend frequently</li>\n <li>Must be able to stand for entire shift</li>\n <li>Is subject to callback during emergency conditions (e.g. severe weather, evacuation, post-disaster, etc.)</li>\n <li>May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals</li>\n</ul>\n<p>BNM123</p>",
