This is a position that focuses on building and maintaining relationships internally and externally to complete commercial construction projects on schedule and within budget.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB TITLE: Superintendent II</span></p>\n<p><em>(Superintendent I and Senior Superintendent Positions also available)</em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REPORTS TO: Field Operations Leader</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PURPOSE:<span> </span></span>The purpose of this job is to solely lead medium to large projects and complex healthcare construction project(s) while always ensuring the project is completed on time and aligned with the budget.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you’ll do:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborates with trade partners, field and office staff on a daily basis to complete construction projects on schedule</li>\n<li>Manages the work of trade partners per contract</li>\n<li>Ensures local, state, and national building codes are followed</li>\n<li>Enforce Graham and OSHA safety requirements</li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, and industry representatives to help secure repetitive business</li>\n<li>Construct buildings per plans and specs</li>\n<li>Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reports</li>\n<li>Manage and mentor carpenters, laborers, field engineers, and interns</li>\n<li>Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, Outlook, and Excel</li>\n<li>Plan and manage schedule with a six-week look ahead</li>\n<li>Attend and contribute to pull sessions and other preconstruction activities</li>\n<li>Make decisions and commitments regarding the best interest of Graham Construction</li>\n<li>Enforce Graham quality standards per Graham core processes</li>\n<li>Collaborate with project managers to manage budget, labor, and cost codes</li>\n<li>All other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What knowledge, skills, and abilities you’ll bring:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in management or related degree + 5 years of commercial construction experience or equivalent commercial construction field experience</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to build commercial and healthcare construction projects</li>\n<li>Use project management and scheduling software effectively.</li>\n<li>Great verbal and written communication skills</li>\n<li>Ability to build per construction drawings</li>\n<li>Extremely detail-oriented</li>\n<li>Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Legal Requirements</span>:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>Ability to pass pre-employment testing</li>\n<li>Must be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a noisy environment</li>\n<li>Ability to take and pass OSHA 30 certification</li>\n<li>Ability to work within one of Graham Construction, a 3G Company’s operational areas as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What benefits you’ll enjoy:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>401K with a 6% immediate vesting match</li>\n<li>Personalized growth opportunities</li>\n<li>Two healthcare plans to choose from</li>\n<li>Vision, Dental, &amp; Life Insurance</li>\n<li>Paid Time Off </li>\n<li>9 Company holidays annually</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">More about Graham Construction, a 3G Company:</span><span> John Graham, a well-known developer, in the Midwest founded Graham Construction in 1981.
