Working closely with partners and a high performing team, you’ll take ownership of client relationships, drive technical excellence, mentor others, and help shape the future of our service offerings.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires a hybrid work arrangement.  At Wipfli, hybrid is defined as associates regularly work in a Wipfli office, from home and at client sites.  The client sites can vary locally, regionally, or nationally depending on the industry alignment. Note that scheduled meetings at the client and in the office will require in-person attendance. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee financial institution and business valuation projects such as ASC 805 purchase price allocations, goodwill impairments, ESOP valuations, estate and gifting, and minority shareholder matters.</li>\n <li>Manage engagements end-to-end, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.</li>\n <li>Present findings to executive teams, boards, attorneys, and advisors with clarity and confidence.</li>\n <li>Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing proactive planning and insights.</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities for expanded services and support overall client relationship growth.</li>\n <li>Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, participating in prospect meetings, and helping to shape growth strategies.</li>\n <li>Develop thought leadership such as whitepapers, presentations, training content, or industry insights.</li>\n <li>Mentor and coach associates, analysts, and managers to build a strong, scalable valuation team.</li>\n <li>Foster a collaborative environment grounded in excellence, integrity, and continuous learning.</li>\n <li>Manage multiple engagements simultaneously and ensure alignment with firm processes, compliance standards, and documentation protocols.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience in business valuation, audit, financial institutions, or related professional services</li>\n <li>Deep technical expertise in valuation methodologies and financial reporting, especially ASC 805</li>\n <li>Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency with valuation and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook, IBISWorld, Bloomberg)</li>\n <li>Proven experience leading teams and managing complex engagements</li>\n <li>Strong communication, presentation, and client facing skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional credentials: CPA, CFA, ASA, or ABV</li>\n <li>Experience contributing to business development or practice growth</li>\n <li>Prior experience presenting externally or contributing to thought leadership</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Amanda Feltner, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
