position is responsible for the administration&nbsp;and oversight of the Project Managers in&nbsp;the FE Transmission Project&nbsp;Management department, and&nbsp;reports&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Manager, Transmission Project&nbsp;Management.</span><br><br><span><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;include:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Ensuring there is a complete team and individual commitment to safety in&nbsp;all areas of work</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>Ensuring there is&nbsp;a complete team and individual commitment to environmental compliance</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Supervising a staff of Project Managers (both internal and external), while providing leadership and direction that&nbsp;results in&nbsp;successful projects which meet, enhance and&nbsp;contribute to&nbsp;the&nbsp;overall goals&nbsp;of&nbsp;FET and FE</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Directing&nbsp;daily&nbsp;activities&nbsp;of&nbsp;project&nbsp;managers&nbsp;and&nbsp;technical&nbsp;personnel.</span></li>\n <li><span>Directing and&nbsp;developing staff,&nbsp;and&nbsp;participating in&nbsp;the&nbsp;development of&nbsp;the&nbsp;overall&nbsp;direction&nbsp;and&nbsp;goals&nbsp;of&nbsp;the department.</span></li>\n <li><span>Overseeing <li><span>Communicating department and&nbsp;project&nbsp;goals,&nbsp;priorities&nbsp;and&nbsp;decisions to&nbsp;Regional&nbsp;and&nbsp;Corporate Leadership</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Conducting&nbsp;periodic&nbsp;project&nbsp;status&nbsp;meetings&nbsp;with&nbsp;corporate&nbsp;and&nbsp;regional&nbsp;personnel.</span></li>\n <li><span>Ensuring that project&nbsp;challenge meetings, peer&nbsp;reviews&nbsp;and&nbsp;variance&nbsp;analysis&nbsp;meetings are&nbsp;performed</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>Working with Portfolio Management to develop and update the 5 year style=\"margin-left:1pt\"><span><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;include:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Bachelor&nbsp;of&nbsp;Science&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Business, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management or&nbsp;related field</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>Consideration will&nbsp;be given to&nbsp;applicants having extensive multi-disciplined&nbsp;and technical and operational background in lieu of a college degree</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Must&nbsp;have&nbsp;minimum&nbsp;of&nbsp;5&nbsp;years' experience in&nbsp;project&nbsp;organization with&nbsp;background in&nbsp;engineering, finance, project management, construction, or project controls</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Knowledge of&nbsp;project&nbsp;management&nbsp;concepts&nbsp;and&nbsp;processes</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with&nbsp;a&nbsp;project management tool&nbsp;such&nbsp;as&nbsp;Primavera or&nbsp;MS&nbsp;Project is&nbsp;a&nbsp;plus</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>Detailed Project Controls experience is a definite plus</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent interpersonal
