coordinating any issues that arise on quotes and binding insurance coverage.</p><p>Duties:</p><ul><li>Binding coverage; including providing quality control, providing service support to customers and to internal sales staff.</li><li>Supervising and servicing middle to large accounts</li><li>Servicing day to day customer needs</li><li>Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients, companies and brokers</li><li>Working with Sales Agent to coordinate new business, renewal strategy, and company selection</li><li>Submitting completed applications to appropriate carriers, filter questions, negotiate pricing, and review quotes for accuracy</li><li>Working with underwriters to amend coverage to meet client needs</li><li>Evaluating Risk Transfer methods with client</li><li>Preparing Insurance Proposals, Summaries and related documents</li><li>Ordering and issuing binders, policies, endorsements, certificates, invoices and other related items with assistance from CSR as needed and forward to client with appropriate correspondence</li><li>Reporting and monitoring claims until closed</li><li>Maintaining knowledge of current market conditions and new products</li><li>Accompanying Sales Agent as needed to client meetings</li><li>Directing and mentoring CSRs and Assistants</li><li>Completing projects as required by management</li><li>Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed</li></ul><p><strong>Skills/Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Requires 5 or more years of experience servicing Middle Market accounts</li><li>Ability to work Independently</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and underwriters</li><li>Highly effective communication and negotiation skills</li><li>Takes initiative and displays a sense of urgency</li><li>Detail oriented with strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to make recommendations specific to client needs</li><li>Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel</li></ul><p>Leavitt Group Midwest offer a competitive benefits package.</p><ul><li>$55,000 - 70,000 depending on experience.</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental and Vision Insurance</li><li>401(k) with matching employer contributions.</li><li>HSA and FSA</li><li>Paid sick and vacation leave</li></ul><p>As a national company, the Leavitt Group is one of the largest privately-held insurance agency brokerage in the nation, with over 250 locations across 27 states.
