Specific responsibilities include providing patient experience expertise to support the development, maintenance, and engagement of Patient Family Advisory Councils and Patient Family Advisors to guide targeted departments and patient populations throughout the organization to ensure the identification and implementation of improvement projects that enhance the quality and experience of care. Responsibilities The Patient and Family Engagement Specialist serve as a subject matter expert to ensure that the patient and family voice is incorporated into all aspects of the organization, especially those that relate to the improvement of quality of care, patient safety, and patient and family experience. The Patient and Family Engagement Specialist provide project management and execution for patient- and family- centered improvement projects in areas of responsibility and across CM systems to provide meaningful support to leaders, patients, and families that is engaging and leads to safer health outcomes. The Patient and Family Engagement Specialist will engage and recruit for the epilepsy Patient Family Advisory Councils (PFACs). Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 1-2 years experience Demonstrated excellent skills in problem solving, service recovery and process improvement, leading and coaching others, verbal and written communication, and an ability to work independently.
