We strive to not only be the partner of choice for our residents, their families, and community players – but also for our valued employees.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>RN - Registered Nurse Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Direct and monitor personal care duties and nursing procedures carried out by Nursing Assistants on the assigned team</p></li>\n <li><p>Assist Nursing Assistants with direct resident care as needed</p></li>\n <li><p>Report unusual symptoms, condition changes, daily needs, and resident progress to the RN Unit Manager, Assistant Unit Manager, or Charge RN Supervisor</p></li>\n <li><p>Follow the Plan of Care for each resident and monitor Nursing Assistants’ adherence to the care plan</p></li>\n <li><p>Receive controlled substances from the shift Supervisory Nurse and manage storage, distribution, and safe use of medications, including medication carts, stock cupboards, refrigerators, and narcotic cabinets</p></li>\n <li><p>Document care plans, Nursing Notes, Medication Administration Records, Treatment Records, and other required records accurately</p></li>\n <li><p>Monitor resident care standards and advocate for residents’ rights and preferences in care and treatment</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>RN - Registered Nurse Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Valid Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license with current state registration required</p></li>\n <li><p>Training and experience in a geriatric setting preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with other personnel</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p></li>\n <li><p>Maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others</p></li>\n <li><p>Caring and respectful attitude toward residents</p></li>\n <li><p>Physical stamina for continuous activity</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to perform duties to established standards of excellence</p></li>\n <li><p>Commitment to uphold Elderwood’s vision, mission, and core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence, and Reverence for the Individual</p></li>\n <li><p>This role involves regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors.
