The position involves safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment, performing daily inspections, completing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), tracking equipment usage, and supporting field operations as needed. Candidates must have heavy equipment experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments in compliance with OSHA and site safety requirements.</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><em>Compensation details will be provided upon contract award.</em></span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Your Key Responsibilities</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 18px;\">Who You Are</span></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for the safe and technically proficient operation of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, articulating loaders, excavators, graders, backhoes, fork-lifts, tele-handlers, etc.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs daily equipment checks to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition. Notates any repair or maintenance needs on the daily check list and notifies Foreman of these items daily. Checks all fluids and immediately notifies the Vehicle Maintenance Facility of any deficiencies and takes care of them prior to operation.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Identifies and creates work orders for general maintenance needs according to manufacturer recommendations or as directed by the Vehicle Maintenance Facility and Fleet Operations leadership.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Completes Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Tracks equipment hours daily and notifies fleet operations office foreman any time equipment is within 25 hours of its PM due hours.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Completes daily, weekly and monthly equipment inspections as required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs general duties as required in support of demolition activities (as provided by the supervisor).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Complies with all Environmental Health &amp; Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Provides documentation to ensure adequate compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Works to achieve goals and contractual commitments.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs physical activities including heavy lifting, climbing in and out of tall equipment and vehicles, crawling as needed, working outdoors daily.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Implements and maintains a safe workplace program and ensures that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Reads and understands the manufacturer&rsquo;s operating manual for each piece of equipment prior to operation of that equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Accurately records time worked, and equipment hours used daily in a provided log and on timesheet.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Knowledgeable of OSHA safety regulations pertaining to equipment operation</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Expected to be proficient in quickly and safely responding to emergencies.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Ability to inspect and document equipment condition.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Experienced in the proper use of appropriate personal protective equipment for each task.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Proficient in performing safety inspections of crane, heavy equipment, wire rope, hooks, slings and rigging and identifying, documenting and reporting any issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0in; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Proficient in performing pre-operational inspections and calculating crane capacities and weight to prepare for safe rigging and hoisting.</li></ul><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0in;
