Description

Yeshiva Elementary School (YES) is seeking a 5 th grade secular studies teacher to for a part time position in the boys division, beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in elementary education, with proven success in delivering engaging and effective instruction across core subject areas. Responsibilities As a 5th grade secular studies teacher you will teach a class of about 20-22 boys in a dual language environment.  In addition to  teaching all core secular subjects, your responsibilities will include: Fostering a positive and structured classroom environment Utilizing strong classroom management skills to support student growth Implementing school-provided curriculum Maintaining high academic expectations Responding thoughtfully to guidance and direction from administrative leadership Consistent and professional communication with parents regarding student’s successes and challenges Successful candidates will: Be collaborative team players Be committed to professional growth Be aligned with the mission and values of YES Recognize the vital partnership between school and home in supporting each student’s success Details Location: North Miami Beach, Florida Salary: Commensurate with experience About Us Founded in 1987, Yeshiva Elementary is a warm & vibrant school dedicated to understanding & nurturing the potential of each child. With rich educational Limudei Kodesh and General Studies programming, the elementary division focuses on Torah, Avodah, building positive Middos and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Our nurturing and stimulating environment, together with our dedicated and experienced Rebbeim and teachers, and a strong emphasis on the individual student, personal character development, and academic growth, serve as a foundation for the holistic development of our students.
