Who We Are
OCL Group Inc., is proudly 100% Canadian owned and operated. We are a privately held, employee-owned, fully integrated general contractor with design-build solutions across Western Canada. We have been serving the energy and municipal infrastructure markets since 2009.
The formation of OCL was a direct result of a few long-tenured industry professionals with entrepreneurial spirits, wanting to get back to their roots and build an organization where people matter. Formed in 2009, OCL started their first project and began building around a business model focused on “People” and “Doing the Job Right”.

The Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced Journeyman Millwrights t o join our team at Kearl Oil Sands , a major oil sands site in Northern Alberta. The successful candidates will work in a safety-first environment on a 14/7 rotation. Camp accommodations and meals provided. Charter flights provided from designated hubs in Edmonton and Calgary with flight allowances based on the province located.
This is starting in mid June.
Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments Perform predictive and operational procedures Repair or replace defective parts as needed Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Adhering to all company safety procedures and regulatory standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols. Skills/Qualifications/Education
Registered Journeyperson Millwright Certification Must have valid safety tickets (:CSTS-2020, WHMIS 2015, First Aid, H2S Alive, AWP, Fall Arrest and Confined Space) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Previous experience working in an industrial setting Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must be willing to complete a criminal background check Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
