You’ll be responsible for building custom air filters while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This is a hands-on position that offers steady hours, a supportive team atmosphere, and great pay with excellent benefits starting right away. If you’re reliable, motivated, and ready to be part of a team that values your hard work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The Assembler involves working with various materials to ensure high-quality production of air filtration products for diverse markets, including Telecommunications, Medical, Military, Renewable Energy, and Industrial sectors. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Duties/Responsibilities:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assembles custom air filtration products and components, including filters based on engineering specifications.</li>\n <li>Reads technical documentation and builds according to detailed instructions.</li>\n <li>Uses various hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble and manufacture air filtration products.</li>\n <li>Maintains accurate logs, records, and reports regarding production, machine maintenance, and any product inconsistencies.</li>\n <li>Performs routine maintenance and basic repairs on equipment.</li>\n <li>Inventories tools, parts, and supplies, and informs the Production supervisor when additional resources are needed.</li>\n <li>Periodically checks products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications; addresses any issues by resolving problems or notifying supervisors.</li>\n <li>Participates in continuous improvement activities to optimize assembly processes and product quality.</li>\n <li>Follows safety protocols and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eyes, gloves and ear protection.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>Required Skills/Abilities:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work.</li>\n <li>Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others in a production environment.</li>\n <li>Strong ability to maintain and perform basic repairs on assembly equipment and machinery.</li>\n <li>Basic proficiency in reading, and writing to ensure accurate assembly and documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Education and Experience:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly, especially in a technical field, is preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Physical Requirements:</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required.</li>\n <li>Manual dexterity for assembly tasks and handling small components with precision.</li>\n <li>Excellent hand-eye coordination for working with tools and machinery.</li>\n <li>Must wear appropriate PPE, including eyes, gloves and ear protection, during work activities as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>MORE ABOUT US</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Universal Air Filter is a leader in custom air filtration solutions for protecting mission critical equipment.
