This individual must be comfortable pulling a variety of trailers carrying everything from automotive parts to finished vehicles. This position will follow all DOT and FMCSA rules and regulations while delivering to the lower 48 states. Night and weekend driving will be required.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p> When not driving, the position will stay busy scheduling maintenance of trucks, trailers, and preparing for your next trip. This position will need to train to the Velocity process, delivery, and sales standards. Expect to drive a Ford F450 with a 48’ goose neck trailer.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job Level</span></span></p>\n<p>Individual Contributor</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Reports To</span></span></p>\n<p>Logistics Manager</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Load, transport, and deliver parts, equipment, and vehicles locally and regionally.</li>\n<li>Ensure items to be picked up or delivered are accurate and undamaged.</li>\n<li>Maintain proper vehicles documentation. Log all maintenance, vehicles and travel logs for mileage, maintenance, and repairs.</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs to ensure the truck is in optimal condition. Clean and maintain the rigs as needed.</li>\n<li>Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.</li>\n<li>Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.</li>\n<li>Operate equipment and machines such as trucks, forklifts, etc.</li>\n<li>Train to the Velocity process, brand, and sales standards.</li>\n<li>Attend shows and set up marketing displays.</li>\n<li>Represent Velocity by providing professional and courteous in person customer service while delivering vehicles.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Required Skills and Abilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently.</li>\n<li>Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work daily.</li>\n<li>Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.</li>\n<li>Adaptability to take on other tasks or projects as needed.</li>\n<li>Strong time management.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all health regulations and utilize all safety equipment.</li>\n<li>Ability to maintain professional communications with managers, coworkers, and vendors.</li>\n<li>Dependability and work ethic to show up every day on time.</li>\n<li>Ability to potentially be on the road up to 24 days per month and available on call within 24 hours notice.</li>\n<li>Speak well in front of customers and present a professional appearance.</li>\n<li>Pre-employment drug screening is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Pay Structure</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Base Pay</span>: $0.60 per mile, covering loading, unloading, standard maintenance, repairs, and licensing.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Show Days/Off Days</span>:\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Show Days</span>: $250 per full show day.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Off Days</span>: $250 per day off while on the road, if applicable.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Breakdowns</span>: $250 per day after the first 6 hours of downtime created by maintenance issues while on the road.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bonus KPIs: </span>\n<ul>\n<li>$50 bonus per load for each successful dealership condition form or $200 for each customer delivery walkthrough and tutorial/test drive resulting in a positive NPS/Google review.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Time Off</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drivers are eligible to block off 30 days off per year. These days can be taken as requested but must be scheduled at a minimum of two weeks in advance.</li>\n<li>Drivers accrue 140 hours of PTO per year at a rate of 11.67 hours per month in lieu of paid holidays and Christmas week off. PTO will be paid out at $35 per hour and must be taken in intervals of 8 hours.</li>\n<li>The remaining time is on-call, meaning the driver should be available to work unless the time off has been pre-approved.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Expected Work Schedule</span></span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drivers are expected to be on the road for 22-24 days per month, depending on the delivery and event schedules.
