As a <strong>Field Connection Specialist</strong>, you will be the face of ImOn in the customer’s home. You will install, operate, inspect, maintain, and service ImOn’s high speed internet and digital phone equipment. In addition, you will communicate with customers on-site, encouraging them to upgrade equipment or service packages.</p><p>Whether you’re beginning your career or bringing years of hands-on experience, this role offers training, and clear advancement paths that let you grow at your own pace.</p><p><u><strong>Schedule:</strong></u> Must be adaptable during training period (2-3 months), as new hire will follow the schedule of the technician, they are training with. Once training period is complete, schedule will be Sunday off, with one day in the week off (Wednesday or Thursday). &nbsp;</p><p><u><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Set-up service for customers, installing, connecting, or adjusting equipment.</li><li>Test equipment to ensure proper functioning.</li><li>Travel to customers’ premises to install, maintain, or repair electronic reception equipment or accessories.</li><li>Measure signal strength at utility pole or customer premises, using electrical test equipment.</li><li>Inspect or test lines or cables, recording and analyzing test results, to assess transmission characteristics and locate faults or malfunctions.</li><li>Access specific areas to string lines or install terminal boxes, auxiliary equipment, by climbing ladders or entering crawl spaces.</li><li>Explain cable service to subscribers after installation and collect any installation dues that are due.</li></ul><p><u><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>A positive, professional attitude even in challenging situations</li><li>Dependability and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to prepare for emerging customer needs</li><li>Comfortable and able to manage multiple projects</li><li>Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizations and time management skills are required for success in this position.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate relevant information in an organized and concise manner.</li><li>Must be able to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Must be flexible, able to multi-task effectively and maintain composure during high activity periods.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
